Cute little winter wonder boy!

James got a new winter hat and gloves. OF course there is no way to get the gloves on him because he pulls them off his hands before you even get his hand all the way in there! But he did not mind his hat as much so I got a couple pics of it. I think he is so cute with his hat on! He is also wearing his favorite vest that his Great Grandmother got him! In the 1st pic he is showing off some cool moves in his vest!

Charlottes Web

We took our niece and nephew to see Charlottes Web a couple weeks ago. That is where we told them that we are having a girl and naming her Charlotte. We all had a great time, including James! He loves hanging out with his cousins.

Fire Dog!

Gus wanted to be James' fire dog in his firetruck tunnel. They were both having so much fun, they really did not worry about the fact that Gus is a little big for this firetruck!

New Neighbor

Meet Ruby, our new canine neighbor. She loves to play with James and is not scared of the giant puppies in our house!

Pumpkin Patch Continued!

James wanted to walk every where, he did not want to be carried. Of course Grammie and Poppy helped him along everywhere! It was a fun experience for us all.

Pumpkin Patch

James loved visiting the Pumpkin Patch! He ran all over the place playing in the hay and on the tractor tires. Grammie and Poppy had fun too!

1 YEAR OLD!

It is so hard to believe James is 1... it is so hard to change from months to years and I thought going from weeks to months was a big step! He is walking really well and trying to talk and trying even harder to get some more teeth! He is such a joy and blessing in our lives and we love every day!
Brian had just as much fun as James did on his first birthday!

Play dates

James and Logan have been friends now since they were about a month old. Lately we have been meeting Logan and his mom, Alisha at the park to play. It is so cute to watch them play together.

Busy boy

James is such a big helper, lately he has helped me unload groceries, remove the sheets from my bed and of course to pack his diaper bag before a trip out of the house. Such a good helper!

Haircut

James has had about 5 hair cuts in his first year. This past week I cut his hair again to get him ready for his BIG birthday party. I thought he was just going to need a trim, but he has so much hair it is amazing how much of it I cut off.
He was such a good boy just sitting there watching a video while I cut his hair with clippers. He would look back every now and then, but then something exciting would happen on the video and he was not even phased by what I was doing.

SeeSaw

James even likes the seesaw on his new playset, however, he mostly tries to chew on the piece of wood that is in front of his face.

Swing

James just recently got a new playset in our backyard. He loves to swing! He laughs and giggles the whole time! It is nice to have that playset right in our back yard for him to visit several times a day if he wants.

Fetch

Daisy loves to fetch- Gus just likes to lay around. It is so crazy that he is so not interested in playing fetch, but she loves it!

James and his puppies

James has lots of fun with his puppies, check out this video of he and Daisy playing tug of war! I had a video of this, but I can't get it to upload. James loves playing with the puppies, sometimes they love it, sometimes they don't!

Cousins

Yesterday James’ cousins Anna Kate and Grant came over for a visit with Brian’s sister, Heather. We all had lots of fun, including the puppies! They brought me lunch, which was a nice treat and after they left James slept for 2 and half hours, so did the puppies! Having that much fun with their cousins wore them all out!

It is so fun to see the cousins have fun with each other and get to know one another. Though they live right here in Atlanta, we live on opposite sides of Atlanta. Like the complete opposite sides, so it is hard to see them very often.

Poppy playing with James

Golf Cart Ride

My father, a golf pro was very excited to take James on his first golf cart ride, Though you can't tell from this video, James loved it. He liked going FAST! My own little talladega nights guy!

Visit to NY

Last week James visited his fifth state, New York! James and I flew in to Rochester to see my parents since they cannot get away in the summer months. It was a lot of work, but worth it for my parents to spend time with James.

He had lots of fun playing with Grammie and Poppy!

9 month check up

Yesterday I took James to his 9 month appointment. I cannot believe 9 months has gone by so fast! It seems like it took way longer for the 9 months to get him than it did for him to turn 9 months! He is doing great! He finally has 2 bottom teeth, he is 21 pounds and 4 ounces, 28 inches high and doing very well developmentally. He is still not saying any words and is not quite yet walking, but both of things are probably coming soon. I would imagine he will be able to walk before he can talk since he is so close to walking already! He has been such a fun addition to our lives. We are so blessed to have a happy healthy baby boy!

James and I are going to see Grammie and Grampie on Saturday and return home next Thursday. We are very excited to see them, though we will miss Brian and the puppies!

I am sure I will have some pics to upload from NY. I am looking forward to it!

Talking?? not just yet!

James at 9 months is not yet talking, but here is a little clip of him trying to copy what I say, or at least what he thinks of what I have to say!

Teeth!

Well, we are finally getting 2 front teeth! It seems James was teething at 4 months, now he is 9 months and finally getting some teeth! They do improve his smile though!

I will try to get a picture of them this week and put it up.

James is also going to his 5th state this month, we are going to visit my parents in upstate New York. He was born in Georgia, he has already flown to Florida, Indiana, and Texas and is soon to fly to New York! He is a busy little traveler since he is only 9 months old! He is really good to travel with, he looks around at all the sights and sounds and he usually just sleeps on the plane!

I will be sure ot update with more pics when I get back!
