Last week James visited his fifth state, New York! James and I flew in to Rochester to see my parents since they cannot get away in the summer months. It was a lot of work, but worth it for my parents to spend time with James.
He had lots of fun playing with Grammie and Poppy!

Hai, went to all our bloggers blog and stumble into yours. Just want to say congratulation for your kids and wife. I too am just got into the role of a father 2 yrs ago and just recently I have a new prince. I wld love the exchange the experience of being parenthood. And culturally we're all different. For us in Brunei it is a tradition that when the wife give birth, she is not allow to take shower for 40 day! (I know God...imagine the un-showered wife). But don't worry I'm a modern educated guy even my wife so we tend to bend our tradition (but without our own parents knowing). As for the kids...well both babies need to have a ritual bath called the "keytung". it's like the gramps get this old rusty metal tool called the "keytung" put in our babies bath tub and bathe the baby in it. A totally naive belief that it will make the baby strong! than there is the part where the wife's tummy and toes are knot with a black cloths, believe that the tummy will be firm and as for the toes well, well just so as not to be accidentally hit by things or people. Oh the sad part is there is no such thing as paternity leave for the husband here. Anyways drop by my blog when you have time.
